East Brainerd Family Dentistry has invested in technology that allows us to do crowns in a single visit. Cerec is a piece of dental equipment that allows us to prepare the tooth and take a digital picture of the preparation. A computer program is used to design the restoration and the restoration is milled and bonded that day. Not only can be used to fabricate crowns but can also be used for a number of single unit restorations such as: inlays, onlays, and veneers. It will not fabricate bridges, it will only do single teeth. In todays economic environment, a patients time away from work is precious. With Cerec you can have your crowns or veneers done in one day and will not have to take off work for a second visit.

We can even design multiple front teeth at the same time! This way the patient can particapate in their on smile makeover as they sit in the chair. The crowns or veneers are then milled out and fired in an oven, 20 minutes later they are ready to be bonded to the tooth!
