Dr. Charles M. Hooper III was born in Chattanooga, graduated from Boyd-Buchanan School in 1996, and earned his B.S. in Biology from David Lipscomb University in 2000. In 2004, he graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
Dr. Hooper is a dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Chattanooga Dental Society. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, which shows the importance of lifelong learning in his practice.
Specializing in digital dentistry and single-visit crowns, Dr. Hooper is an expert in the CEREC® system, the leading digital CAD/CAM technology. With over 10 years of experience using CEREC®, he has trained other doctors in the technology across the United States and Canada.
Dr. Hooper also serves as part of the Visiting Faculty at cerecdoctors.com in Scottsdale, AZ, and is also a CEREC® trainer for Henry Schein.
Dr. Hooper achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the local Troop 30 in Chattanooga and continues to be actively involved in Scouts. He is married to Nisa Hooper, who owns and operates the Cleveland Dance and Performing Arts Center. In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, snow skiing, and traveling with his wife.
